The Richmond Thames Path offers scenic views and leads you to dreamy destinations with great food and drink options dotted along the way.
Highlights of this walk lovely walk include:
- Ham House is a National Trust property with lovely interiors and classic gardens. Currently, only the gardens are open and they are worth a visit! There is a ferry that takes you across the Thames to Marble Hill House for just £1!
- Marble Hill House is an English Heritage site. This 18th-century Palladian-style villa was built for Henrietta Howard, mistress of King George the II. Closed at the moment but lovely to walk by.
- Make sure to stop into Petersham Nursery for garden inspiration and delicious food in an enchanting botanical setting.
- Taking a stroll through Richmond Park is also a must. If you go during the morning or evening twilight hours there is a high likelihood of seeing deer!
