November Happiness List

November was chock full of happiness and it was hard to pick my best moments but here are nine of the things that made me happy in November,
Clem’s First Birthday! I can’t believe my little baby is already one. She was the cutest little thing at her party and crawled around to all the guests to say hello while also trying to steal their phones. She refused to try her birthday cake and filled up on turkey and cheese.
I became a Permanent Residence of the UK!! Next step citizenship.
Friendsgiving. Every year we host an annual Friendsgiving. Everyone brings a traditional Thanksgiving dish and we spend the evening hanging out and eating food. Good food and good company, what more could you ask for.
Hyde Park Pet Cemetery Tour. There is a tiny Victorian pet cemetery in Hyde Park. It is in the back yard of a private lodge and there is really no way to see it unless you book a tour. It is so interesting to see all the tiny little graves and read the cute names of the pets.
Twelfth Night. The Young Vic put on one of the best adaptations of Twelfth Night I’ve ever seen. It was a musical and so fun. I’m so glad we got to see it.
Yayoi Kusama exhibit. Colourful and fun this was definitely a highlight of the month. The infinity room was so cool and we spent a lot of time looking at the giant pumpkins and flowers. So happy.
Pumpkin Toffee Cronut and Dumblesmore Doughnut. Doughnuts are delicious and I’m glad I ate some fancy ones this month.
Pie Night. A night full of all kinds of delicious sweet pies. A happy night indeed.
Poppies at the Imperial War Museum. This installation was stunning and I’m so glad we got to see it.
