Spitalfields & Shoreditch

I love that every area of London has its own unique vibe. East London is known for its food scene, amazing markets, independent shops, alongside world class graffiti, and historic buildings. Here are some of my favourite places to visit, and eat when I am in E1:A New Tribe - Beautifully curated home goods with a stunning selection of Moroccan rugs.AIDA Shoreditch - With a focus on style and sustainability, offering home goods as well as men's and women's wear.Hackney City Farm - A charming farm right in the city! A perfect place to take your little ones on a sunny weekend.Columbia Road Flower Market - A plant lovers paradise pops up on Columbia Road every Sunday. There are also dozens of little homewares shops, and cute cafes to stop by.Lyle’s London - With a focus on quality, local, and seasonal you can taste the passion in the food here.Beigel Bake - This London icon is open 24 hours and serves up bagels with delicious fillings such as salt beef, cream cheese, nutella, and more!Dark Sugars - A must visit for any chocolate lover.Brick Lane Bookshop - A lovely independent bookshop with lots of great local books.Rinkoff Bakery - Crodoughs, Challa, and colourful bagels, grace the counter at this 100 year old bakery. The Old Truman Brewery - There are a lot of different markets that pop up on Brick Lane, but two that are especially great are The Sunday Up Market and the Backyard Market.Padella Pasta- Handmade pasta that will make you feel like you are in Italy.Dennis Severs’ House - London has no shortage of interesting museums, but this is like none other. Some of my favourite places to eat are here: Cross Town Doughnuts, Dumpling Shack, Humble Crumble, Pleasant Lady Trading, Wheelcake Island, Yum Bun, Bleecker Burger, and GuasaLibreria - A truly enchanting bookshop that is designed to help you discover new books you might have otherwise missed.Burro E Salvia - Fresh pasta and provisions that you can takeaway, or enjoy in their cafe.
