Richmond is one of my favourite little pockets of London. It is full of restaurants, cafes, an abundance of green space, and is home to one of London’s most lovely river walks. The Richmond Thames Path offers scenic views and leads you to dreamy destinations with great food and drink options dotted along the way. Highlights of this walk lovely walk include:Ham House is a National Trust property with lovely interiors and classic gardens. Currently, only the gardens are open and they are worth a visit! There is a ferry that takes you across the Thames to Marble Hill House for just £1!Marble Hill House is an English Heritage site. This 18th-century Palladian-style villa was built for Henrietta Howard, mistress of King George the II. Closed at the moment but lovely to walk by.Make sure to stop into Petersham Nursery for garden inspiration and delicious food in an enchanting botanical setting.Taking a stroll through Richmond Park is also a must. If you go during the morning or evening twilight hours there is a high likelihood of seeing deer! I’d love to know, do you have a favourite scenic walk in London?
