Chelsea London

Chelsea London

I am excited to share my first guide of 2020! Chelsea is such a vibrant area of London and I must say it was hard to pick my favourites for this illustration. There is a lot of charm to be found in Chelsea, from Bromoton Rd to Kings Rd and all the bits in between. Starting from the top 1. The V&A- One of my favourite museums in London. Don't miss the Cast Courts and the Raphael Cartoons. 2. Aux Merveilleux de Fred - Get two chocolate brioche's, one for now, and one for later, and a box of Merveilleux cakes. 3. Maitre Choux- Pick your fancy of beautiful eclairs and chox. 4. Harrods- I get lost every single time I go, we can never find the Egyptian escalators, and the food hall can get a bit mad, but it a beautiful building with a veritable variety of treasures. 5. Bread Ahead- Pavilion Road is full of delicious restaurants and charming shops. Pop into Bread Ahead for a loaf of their amazing sour dough and a few doughnuts just for good measure. 6. Moyses Stevens- Treat yourself to beautiful flowers at this royal warrant holding florist. 7. Saatchi Gallery- An amazing contemporary art gallery with ever changing exhibits. Do yourself a favour and go if you haven't been. 8. Royal Chelsea Hospital- You can tour this hospital year round, but once a year it is transformed for the Chelsea Flower Show. Something to be experienced at least once in life. 9.Manolo Blanhik- Visit the first Manolo shop and day dream about where you would wear the fabulous shoes. 10.Chelsea Physic Garden- This garden started as an apothecaries garden in 1673, growing plants for healing and medicine and the tradition lives one with medical plants still being grown there. 11. Anthropologie- If you are looking for eclectic and fun home goods and clothing this is the store for you. Marvel at the beautiful building that houses it as well. 12. The Ivy- Seasonally decorated outside and good food inside. The Ivy Chelseas Garden is the perfect place to go to dinner with friends. 13. Peggy Porschen- The second cafe of the darling and delicious cake shop offers a full range of breakfast and lunch as well as treats. 14. Bywater Street- There are many colourful streets in Chelsea, but this is one of my favourites. xx
